Past Redmond Poet Laureate events:

June 11: Jack Straw Reading at Redmond Library - Five 2013 Jack Straw writers read at 7 PM.  This will be the final event of the season for the Redmond Poet Laureate. The five writers will be Larry Crist, Emily Perez, Dennis Caswell, Judith Skillman and Jeannine Hall Gailey (Redmond's Poet Laureate.) All have published widely and their poetry will be available to peruse or purchase. Refreshments will be provided.

April 6th: Teen Workshop at Redmond Library on writing fairy tale poetry. We'll write poems as fairy tale characters, as well as create a "found poem" from book titles for a Friends of the Library Poetry Contest!

Once Upon a Time: A Book Reception and Reading with Art Show at VALA
VALA hosts Jeannine Hall Gailey's launch of her third book, Unexplained Fevers, and she (and guest readers from the Redmond poetry community) read fairy-tale themed poetry at this reception and art show. Artist Michaela Eaves will display art inspired by the book.
